Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “Vaquerano Vintage Watches,” “Vaquerano,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Vaquerano Vintage, doing business as Vaquerano Vintage Watches.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and any other policies or notices referenced on our website.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our website or purchase products from us.

1. ABOUT VAQUERANO VINTAGE WATCHES

Vaquerano Vintage Watches is an independent reseller of vintage and pre-owned watches.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Vaquerano Vintage Watches is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to any watch manufacturer or trademark owner whose products may be offered through our store.

Brand names, trademarks, model names, logos, and other identifying information belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify and describe products being offered for resale.

2. VINTAGE AND PRE-OWNED NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS

All watches sold by Vaquerano Vintage Watches are vintage, pre-owned, used, or otherwise previously owned unless expressly stated otherwise.

Vintage watches should not be expected to perform, appear, or function in the same manner as new watches.

Signs of age and previous use may include, without limitation:

  • scratches

  • scuffs

  • dents

  • discoloration

  • patina

  • oxidation

  • plating wear

  • bracelet stretch

  • replacement components

  • polishing

  • repaired components

  • worn markings

  • dial aging

  • crystal wear

  • case wear

  • engraving

  • variations in timekeeping

  • cosmetic imperfections

  • other evidence of age or previous ownership

These characteristics are inherent to vintage merchandise and are not necessarily defects.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, videos, measurements, condition ratings, descriptions, and disclosures before purchasing.

3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

We make reasonable efforts to describe each watch accurately based on the information available to us at the time of listing.

Because we primarily sell vintage and pre-owned watches, complete historical information may not always be available.

Product information may be based on:

  • case and movement markings

  • reference numbers

  • serial numbers

  • manufacturer information

  • third-party reference materials

  • prior ownership information

  • visual inspection

  • our own research and experience

Unless expressly stated otherwise, descriptions of production period, approximate year, model, reference, movement, materials, original configuration, or similar historical information should be understood as our good-faith assessment rather than manufacturer-issued certification.

An error or omission that materially affects the product will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.

4. AUTHENTICITY AND ATTRIBUTION

We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the watches offered for sale.

However, vintage watches may have been repaired, modified, serviced, refinished, polished, restored, or fitted with replacement components during their lifetime without documentation.

Unless a product listing expressly states that a watch has been authenticated or certified by the manufacturer or an identified independent expert, no manufacturer or third-party certification should be assumed.

A watch may contain components manufactured at different times or replacement components that are appropriate for the watch but are not original to the watch when first sold.

Where we are unable to independently verify an aspect of a watch’s authenticity, originality, provenance, reference, or configuration, we may expressly disclose that limitation in the applicable product listing.

The disclosure contained in the individual product listing controls over any general statement elsewhere on the website.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions permits us to knowingly misrepresent a product or eliminates any rights that cannot legally be waived.

5. ORIGINALITY OF COMPONENTS

Unless specifically stated in the product listing, we do not guarantee that every component of a vintage watch is original to the watch when manufactured.

Components that may have been replaced during the life of a watch include, without limitation:

  • bracelets

  • straps

  • buckles

  • clasps

  • crystals

  • crowns

  • hands

  • dials

  • batteries

  • gaskets

  • movement components

  • other service parts

Aftermarket straps and bracelets may be used and will generally be identified where known.

6. CONDITION RATINGS

Any numerical or descriptive condition rating used by Vaquerano Vintage Watches is intended solely as a general guide.

Condition ratings are subjective assessments made by us based on the watch’s age, visible cosmetic condition, and overall presentation.

A condition rating does not represent:

  • a warranty

  • a standardized industry grading system

  • a guarantee of mechanical performance

  • a guarantee of originality

  • a guarantee that every imperfection has been identified

  • an independent professional appraisal

Photographs and the individual product description should be considered together with any condition rating.

7. PHOTOGRAPHS AND COLOR

We make reasonable efforts to photograph products accurately.

However, photographs may not show every scratch, mark, imperfection, texture, or variation visible under different lighting conditions or magnification.

Colors may also appear differently depending on:

  • your device

  • screen calibration

  • display brightness

  • lighting

  • camera settings

  • surrounding conditions

Photographs form part of the product description and should be reviewed carefully before purchasing.

8. WATCH MEASUREMENTS

Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.

Case dimensions may vary depending on whether the crown, lugs, or other components are included in the measurement.

Vintage bracelets may have limited adjustment ranges.

Customers are responsible for reviewing available measurements and determining whether a watch is suitable for their wrist or intended use before placing an order.

9. MECHANICAL AND QUARTZ WATCH PERFORMANCE

A statement that a watch is “working,” “running,” “operational,” or in “working condition” means that the watch was observed functioning at or around the time it was inspected or prepared for sale.

It does not constitute a guarantee of future uninterrupted operation or modern timekeeping accuracy.

Vintage mechanical watches may gain or lose time and may require periodic servicing.

Vintage quartz watches may eventually require:

  • batteries

  • electrical repair

  • movement replacement

  • coil replacement

  • contact cleaning

  • other maintenance

The installation of a new battery does not constitute a guarantee regarding the remaining life of the movement or other electronic components.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, watches have not necessarily undergone a complete professional mechanical service.

10. NON-WORKING WATCHES

Certain watches may be intentionally offered in non-working condition.

When a product listing clearly states that a watch is:

  • non-working

  • not currently running

  • in need of repair

  • being sold for repair

  • being sold for parts

  • otherwise mechanically non-operational

the customer acknowledges that condition before purchasing.

A condition expressly disclosed in the product listing forms part of the description of the product being purchased.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

11. WATER RESISTANCE

No vintage watch sold by Vaquerano Vintage Watches should be considered water resistant unless the individual product listing expressly states that the watch has recently undergone professional pressure testing and identifies the applicable testing result.

Original manufacturer water-resistance ratings should not be relied upon for vintage watches.

Gaskets, crowns, crystals, seals, cases, and other components deteriorate with age.

Customers should avoid exposing vintage watches to water, including:

  • swimming

  • showering

  • bathing

  • washing dishes

  • heavy rain

  • steam

  • saunas

  • other significant moisture exposure

Vaquerano Vintage Watches is not responsible for water or moisture damage resulting from exposure after delivery except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.

12. SERVICING AND REPAIRS

Unless expressly stated in a product listing, we do not represent that a watch has received a complete professional service.

References to cleaning, polishing, battery replacement, strap replacement, bracelet replacement, or similar work refer only to the specific work identified.

They do not imply that the movement or entire watch has been restored or comprehensively serviced.

Vintage watches should be periodically inspected and serviced by a qualified watchmaker.

We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery by:

  • improper servicing

  • improper battery installation

  • unauthorized repairs

  • opening the case

  • magnetism

  • impacts

  • drops

  • water exposure

  • improper adjustment

  • misuse

  • modifications

  • work performed by third parties

13. PRICING

All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is accepted.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are accurate.

In the event of an obvious pricing, typographical, or technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a refund where permitted by law.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, customs fees, or other charges may be added at checkout or imposed by the applicable government authority.

14. AVAILABILITY

Most products sold by Vaquerano Vintage Watches are unique or available in quantities of one.

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve the item.

A product may remain available for purchase by another customer until checkout and payment are successfully completed.

Inventory discrepancies may occasionally occur.

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is submitted, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

15. RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR CANCEL ORDERS

We reserve the right, to the extent permitted by law, to refuse, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate business, security, fraud-prevention, inventory, pricing, or compliance reasons.

We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Any shipment timelines displayed on our website are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.

We will comply with applicable laws governing shipment deadlines, delays, cancellations, and refunds.

19. SHIPPING DELAYS

Carrier delays may occur due to weather, customs, transportation disruptions, holidays, labor interruptions, government action, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If we are unable to ship an order within a timeframe required by applicable law, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, consent request, or refund required by law.

20. LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Customers should contact us promptly if a package is lost, damaged, or appears to have been stolen.

Where applicable, we may assist with a carrier or shipping-insurance claim.

Responsibility for a lost, stolen, misdelivered, or damaged package will be determined based on applicable law, the shipping service used, available insurance, delivery confirmation, and the circumstances of the shipment.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

21. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International customers are responsible for determining whether a product may legally be imported into their destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, customers are responsible for applicable:

  • customs duties

  • import taxes

  • brokerage charges

  • VAT

  • customs processing fees

  • other government charges

Customs processing may cause delays outside our control.

We will not intentionally misstate the purchase price or characterize a commercial purchase as a gift for customs purposes.

22. FINAL SALE AND RETURNS

Because each product is vintage or pre-owned and generally unique, all sales are final except where otherwise expressly stated in our Refund and Return Policy or where a return, repair, replacement, cancellation, or refund is required by applicable law.

We do not accept returns based solely on:

  • change of mind

  • buyer’s remorse

  • fit preference when measurements were provided

  • expected patina or age-related wear that was disclosed or reasonably visible before purchase

  • minor color differences caused by displays or lighting

  • imperfections disclosed in photographs or descriptions

  • characteristics that were clearly disclosed before purchase

Customers should review all product information carefully before completing checkout.

This policy does not eliminate rights relating to defective or materially misrepresented products where those rights cannot legally be waived.

23. MATERIAL DIFFERENCES OR PROBLEMS WITH AN ORDER

If you believe that you received the wrong product, the product was materially misrepresented, or there is another legally actionable issue with your order, contact us promptly at:

This requirement does not eliminate any rights that cannot legally be conditioned or waived.

24. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

We encourage customers to contact us before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve legitimate concerns.

Submitting a knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent chargeback or payment dispute may constitute a violation of these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.

We reserve the right to provide payment processors, banks, card networks, insurers, law enforcement, or other appropriate parties with transaction records and evidence reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute, fraud investigation, or legal obligation, subject to applicable privacy law.

Nothing in this section restricts a customer’s lawful right to dispute a charge.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VAQUERANO VINTAGE, DOING BUSINESS AS VAQUERANO VINTAGE WATCHES, AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR PRODUCTS.
